We were sick of backpacks being black holes. You know the drill: rummaging for 10 minutes just to find your keys. So we asked a simple question: "What if it just... opened up flat?" The UNO was born. You guys funded our weird, one-piece, customizable backpack and proved we weren't totally crazy.
After the UNO, we had another big thought: "What if bags were like LEGOs?" A modular system you could snap together. Was it a little ambitious? Yes. Did it work? Also yes. You showed us you were ready for a carry system, not just another bag.
Your tech is expensive. Tossing an iPad into a regular bag and hoping for the best just felt wrong. So we nerded out and built a sling like a tiny, wearable fortress. A smart, organized bag for your smart, expensive stuff.
Some days you leave the house with just your phone and wallet. Other days you impulse-buy a baguette and a bottle of wine. We wanted a bag that could handle both. The Radiant's expandable design was for you—the person whose plans change halfway through the day.
Our first baby, the FINO, was a few years old. You guys gave us a massive punch list of what to fix. It needed more space, better pockets, and to stop judging our life choices. So we listened, and the FINO IV was born directly from your feedback.
This was one of those ideas sketched on a napkin that probably should have stayed there. "A tech sling that... what... eats a duffle bag?" It sounded absurd. But you funded it, and somehow, we pulled it off. It's still one of the wildest things we've ever made.
"Okay, we love the sling," you said, "But some of us have actual jobs with big laptops." Point taken. We took everything great about the Decode Sling and supersized it into a backpack that could handle your entire mobile office.
Let's be honest, sometimes you need to look like a grown-up. We wanted to design a bag that didn't scream "I might have a drone in here." The NEO was our answer: super clean, minimalist, and smart, for when you need to fly under the radar.
Function is king, but sometimes you just want to look cool. Sue us. This was our chance to play with bold shapes and create gear that didn't just work great but turned a few heads.
We looked at the bag industry and thought, "Why is everything for 'him' or for 'her'?" It's dumb. So we designed a bag for, you know, people. VIA was about making one beautifully functional bag that works for everyone, period.
You told us the original Radiant was great, but you couldn't quite fit your entire life inside. Challenge accepted. The Mega Sling was for everyone who needed to carry a laptop, a camera, and probably a small dog.
For those weirdly specific days you go from a client meeting straight to the side of a mountain. We designed it because we live those days, and it turns out a lot of you do, too.
Right, we know. We make bags. But we figured the same thinking applies: why do you need a dozen different shoes? So we jumped off a cliff and made an all-purpose sneaker. It was terrifying, but you jumped with us.
By now, we're in a long-term relationship with the FINO. And you rightfully pointed out that we were ignoring an entire segment of the human population: lefties. You were right. Our bad. We fixed it and made the whole thing slicker with a new magnetic buckle.
We gave you LEGOs with our first modular bags. With the Radiant II, we basically handed you the whole damn bucket. A fully modular system that lets you build the exact bag you need, whenever you need it. You're the designers now.
