As a frequent international traveler, I'm aware of the precautions regarding pickpockets and this bag addresses that issue quite well. Multiple pockets stores phones and other everyday (EDC) items quite easily. The larger pockets can safely hold passports/tickets/maps/guidebooks/powerbanks. If you don't overpack, then this fits under a coat or jacket easily while remaining comfortable. The quick release buckle is a nice feature. Very well constructed with quality materials. I had been using a different style of crossbody bag and noticed major improvements with this new one. The longer body, along with placement of pockets, allows this bag to actually bend to conform to the wearer's body and maintain a slimmer look. The pocket placement of my old bag would allow thick items in the various pockets to stack on each other resulting in a bulgy look and feel. The phone pocket of this new bag fit my iPhone 16 Pro with a thick case on it. The zippered mesh pocket works well for small umbrellas or plastic water bottles. Dislikes- I wish there was a pen slot. The retention clip on the loose strap end doesn't stay attached to the bag very well, constantly slipping loose and dangling.

I used a theft resistant carry pack on vacation in Europe and decided it was man purse time. I searched for months to find one that checked all my boxes.

Easy access card slots for the 3 cards I use consistently, enough space to put things like chap stick, charger, pen etc. without being overly larger and still looking on the masculine side.

Along came the Fino V and checked every one of those boxes. Almost a year later and it’s still my daily carry and I haven’t looked at another. The only way I will is if they upgrade or improve this.

It’s held up, I toss it around drop it. Throw it in the back seat covered with dog hair. Still looks great. The magnetic strap is awesome.

Only small complaint is if you are packed out for a vacation day the water bottle holder can get smushed out a bit where it’s not usable or your phone might not fit in the phone slot if like me you have an XL phone. But minor details that don’t bother me 99% of the time.

I have been looking for a new crossbody sling for a while, and after trying several others, I stumbled upon the NIID brand, and purchased 3 of their crossbody bags before I settled on this one, and it has been my go to sling ever since!

Pros

-I absolutely love the slim profile! It looks sleek, and stays close to my body even when expanded

-I love that it has an expansion zipper, so I can carry more without the sling looking too bulky.

-So many pockets! There has a felt lined pocket in the front, two mesh pockets in the main part of the bag along with a zippered pocket. There has also a magnetic pocket on the back that has big enough to hold a smart phone or wallet.

-The retractable key chain is a life saver! I hate having to root around in my bag for my keys or need to unclip them in order to unlock my door because then I tend to set them down somewhere and waste time trying to find my keys. Having a retractable key chain should be standard for any sling bag, and I am glad NIID includes one in all their bags.

-I love the sleek design of this bag; it goes with everything and looks professional too!

-This bag seems to be water resistant (which I really like), and when I got caught in some light rain, everything stayed dry inside, but I am not sure if it would withstand a torrential downpour.

However, there are a few things that prevent me from giving it five stars.

Cons:

-None of the pockets on this bag are big enough to hold a tablet. The fleece lined pocket on the front is just big enough to hold a Kindle Paper White (without a case), so anything longer than 7 inches or wider that 4.5 inches won not fit.

-The material looks sleek and feels premium inside and out, but after 4 months of use, you can see that 2 tiny holes/tears have appeared along with visible scratches on the bag and handle, so I question its durability long term. I haven not contacted customer service yet, but I will update my review accordingly once I do.

-The full price is a little steep for a bag this size since I question its durability, but I definitely think it has worth it when they offer a discount.

-I wish the bag was a little deeper on one side, so I could carry a water bottle as well. While I love the shape of this bag, the size is just a little too small to use as an EDC for longer commutes, but perfect for travel with its anti-theft features.

Overall, I am very pleased with this bag and the NIID brand as a whole. If you are traveling or looking for a slim and minimalist EDC, then this bag is a must have! However, if you are looking for a bag for commuting or to carry larger tablets/electronics, then this is definitely NOT the bag for you; however, I still think NIID bags are an excellent choice as a whole for an EDC (especially if they improve their sizing and durability in future models).

I am glad I did the research I did before buying this bag. Great size, fits my body well, aged nicely so far, the retractable keychain is very convenient. Everything about it does the job. I have used this thing for travels (flights and by car), work as a driver, and casually. I have thrown it around a few times with no issues. The clip to unstrap is well made. No need to worry about it coming off accidentally. It has never happened to me. Lastly, very minimal and stylish.

Overall just a solid bag. Definitely keeping an eye on this company for more of their products because the passion and care is there. Thank you. Make sure it suits your needs and buy it.

The unit I purchased is oriented to hang on my left side, which actually works better as a right-handed person because I have my hand free to open, close, and retrieve items in it. I mention this because I don't know if it comes in a "right-side" version or not. I've worn this on two international trips, and I like the way it stays close to the body and "tucked" under my arm when I want it to. I had no worries traveling through the London Christmas Markets and major tourist areas during the holiday, which was jam-packed, AND in peak season through Barcelona, which is notorious for pick-pockets.One pocket has RFID blocking and, while relatively small, I could still get all of my daily essentials into it.

I purchased this bag recently for traveling. and have been using it to get used to it, for the most part I like it. This is the third sling bag I have purchased, Osprey day sling was another. What I like about this bag is it conforms to your body shape whether it is under your arm or across your back or front. The main compartment has organizing pockets. The compartment in the front has , key-back tether and card pockets (I'll never used) is supposed to have sheilink for chipped cards. There is a phone pocket with a magnetic closure, that is roomy. A hidden pouch in the back and a stretchy net that is supposed to hold a water bottle or umbrella.
The strap is adjustable and has padding that is just right, not over done.

What I am not a fan of is:
phone pocket doesn't have a flap to keep rain out.
The external water bottle net is small and narrow, I am not sure what I would trust putting in it.
I question the chip shielding as protection for credit cards
There is a nice magnetic clasp on the shoulder strap, I only worry about someone using the clasp to take the bag.
The adjustment for the strap has a clip that is made to clip to itself to get it out of the way, it does come undone and flaps around.
It has "flat room" and doesn't lend itself to stuffing. It is good for pocket items: passport, papers, wallet, keys, phone...

I like this bag, it is designed to stay close to my body has a padded adjustable strap. for condensing all your travel paperwork and pocket stuff in one place for getting through airport security, customs etc. This is a great bag. For me it will fit under a jacket or coat if need be. I also purchased (and returned) the NIID-FINO F4 Sling Bag. Also a great bag, sleek but was not as sturdy built or have as much room as this bag. I would recommend this bag.
